The polonaise needs floor space
A studniowka - the ball Polish schools hold a hundred days before the final exams - has one requirement that cannot be worked around: the polonaise has to fit. This opening dance is performed in pairs by the whole year group at once, so for a hundred or two hundred students it needs floor space that most restaurant rooms do not have. The Patio offers 500 m² without pillars, so the formation is planned around the number of pairs rather than the shape of the room.
The 20-metre height does a second thing: the room looks nothing like anything the students know from school. For an event meant to be remembered, that is not a detail.
Three groups of guests at once
A prom has students, their parents and the teaching staff in the room at the same time - three groups with different expectations of the evening. We lay out the hall so each has its own space: dance floor and stage for the students, seating for the parents, a quieter area on the mezzanine for conversation.
Organisation and settlement
Proms are usually settled with a parents committee rather than an individual. That means a different working method from a private party: we agree a single point of contact, and confirm every change to the menu and headcount in writing, so nothing diverges between what was decided at a meeting and what reaches the room.
- One point of contact on the committee side
- Menu and guest numbers confirmed in writing
- Menu tasting available before the decision
- An alcohol-free ball, in line with school rules
- Service and clear-down on our side
When to book
The prom season runs through January and the first half of February - a few weeks containing a dozen or so Saturdays. Schools planning a ball on a specific date usually start looking for a venue in September. The later the search, the more the choice narrows to whatever remains.

Frequently asked questions
How many people does the hall hold for a prom?
Up to 500, which for a prom means an entire year group together with parents and teaching staff. The hall is 500 m² without pillars, so the dance floor is large enough for a polonaise with a high number of pairs.
What does a prom cost per person?
A prom starts at 250 PLN per person, for at least 100 guests. The final price depends on the menu and the length of the ball. The base price covers the hall for the whole night, a plated menu, cold and dessert buffets, soft drinks, sound with dance lighting, and service. A DJ, photo booth and decoration are billed separately.
When do we need to book the date?
September or October is best. The season is January and early February - a dozen or so Saturdays, and every school wants a weekend. Saturday dates go first.
Do you serve alcohol at proms?
No. We run proms as alcohol-free events, in line with school regulations, and enforce the rules during the ball.
Can we taste the menu before deciding?
Yes, we arrange a tasting for representatives of the parents committee. It makes the decision easier when the choice of menu needs agreement from a larger group.
